In search of new music, I’ve found five songs from various genres that an ambitious listener will enjoy.
“Is There Somewhere” – Halsey
Halsey, hailing from New Jersey, sings with a hauntingly beautiful voice in “Is There Somewhere.” If you’re a fan of Chvrches, Lorde, or Ellie Goulding, you will want to listen to this track.
“The Wolfpack” – Angels & Airwaves
Angels & Airwaves was formed shortly after Blink-182 broke up in 2005. Singer and guitarist Tom Delonge of Blink-182 is the frontman of this group, so if you’re a fan of Blink-182, you will love this track. Luckily, both Blink-182 and Angels & Airwaves are back at it and creating music. “The Wolfpack” is the second in a series of new releases by Angels & Airwaves. Check both of them out. You never know when you may get a new surprise from Angels & Airwaves.
“Freefallin’” – Dirty South, Gita Lake
Frequently played on SiriusXM’s BPM channel, Dirty South just released “Freefallin.” If you’re in a need of some calming music after a long week, you’ll enjoy this track.
“Medicine” – The 1975
This LA-based band is currently taking the LA music scene by storm. With hits like “Chocolate” and “Sex,” this is a brand new track you’ll have on repeat (and if you’re in search of a tragic love song, this may be it).
“All About It (feat. Ed Sheeran)”—Hoodie Allen
Former Google employee and the-best-possible-twitter-user-in-the-music-industry, Hoodie Allen, recently released his new album People Keep Talking With Ed Sheeran on the track, this is one track you’ll find stuck in your head.
